DKSH, Novasina extend joint venture in China

SHANGHAI, CHINA: DKSH Business Unit Technology and Novasina have decided to extend their successful partnership to an exclusive cooperation agreement. In 2013, DKSH China plans to continue its efforts in marketing activities and will present Novasina’s measurement equipment at China Lab 2013, Cisile 2013, CPhI 2013 and BCEIA, four of China’s most influential industry exhibitions, as well as at industry conferences.

Novasina’s measurement equipment is used to determine the quality and safety of various kinds of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products by measuring their water activity. Water activity measurement is vital for predicting product safety and quality with respect to microbial growth, chemical and biochemical reaction rates, and physical properties.

“DKSH China is one of our strategic partners within the scope of our medium-term expansion strategy in Asia. We have been very satisfied by DKSH’s performance during the last few years, which showed a significant increase of our sales and general marketing activities. DKSH’s deep application know-how is an important factor for successful sales within our industry,” said Moritz Haensli, Managing Director and President, Novasina AG.
