DKSH, Pfizer form joint venture in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA: DKSH Business Unit Healthcare has signed an agreement to provide marketing and sales, logistics, distribution, credit management and collection services in Cambodia, for Pfizer. Earlier, DKSH Healthcare was appointed by Pfizer (Thailand) Limited as the sole nationwide distributor for all of its pharmaceutical products in Cambodia, effective 1 January 2013.

The agreement between DKSH and Pfizer (Thailand) Limited in Cambodia demonstrates DKSH’s ability to provide the in-demand, highly valued Market Expansion Services for leading pharmaceutical companies that seek to expand in developing markets. The new partnership will further strengthen DKSH’s market position in Southeast Asia while contributing incrementally to the Group’s overall earnings and profitability over time.

“We are proud to provide Pfizer with our integrated Market Expansion Services to support the company’s expansion in Cambodia. This partnership underlines our position as partner of choice for both small- and medium-sized as well as big multinational pharmaceutical companies seeking to grow their businesses in Cambodia,” said Nicolas Chabanier, General Manager, Business Unit Healthcare, DKSH Cambodia.
