Dottikon in talks to acquire Solvias business unit

DOTTIKON, SWITZERLAND: Dottikon ES group has initiated exclusive talks with Solvias regarding acquisition of Solvias Business Unit “Synthesis and Catalysis” that remained in the facilities in Rosental, Basel, after Solvias moving to the new location in Kaiseraugst.

Affected by the potential acquisition are the chemical development and small-scale production for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) as well as the high-throughput screening and ligand development in the field of catalysis. The Solvias Business Units “Analytical Services” and “Process Analytical Technology” are excluded from the acquisition talks.

Dottikon ES employs its versatile technology and equipment portfolio to design, develop and continuously improve chemical processes, scale up from kilogrammes to multi-tonne, as well as to manufacture high-quality intermediates and exclusive active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for the world’s leading pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
