Dow Corning Executive named as Hemlock Semiconductor President
Andrew E Tometich, President, Hemlock Semiconductor Group.

 

MIDLAND, US: Hemlock Semiconductor Group named Andrew E Tometich as its new President, effective immediately. Tometich replaces Richard S Doornbos who has led the company since 2006 and will remain its CEO.

“Hemlock Semiconductor’s rapid expansion in the past five years and our expectation of continued growth requires expanded leadership in the solar and semiconductor industries. Andy’s demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and his broad, deep and diverse experience in business management will help to assure our continued success,” said Doornbos.

Tometich, most recently served as Business VP of Strategic Feedstocks, Core Products Business, Dow Corning. He has served on Hemlock Semiconductor’s board of directors since 2010.

In his more than 22-year career at Dow Corning, Tometich has served in various commercial, business development and executive positions in the US and Europe. He has served on the board of directors of several Dow Corning entities and ventures.
