Dow Corning names Biesterfeld as distributor of solar silicon products

HAMBURG, GERMANY: Dow Corning has named Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH as a distributor of silicon-based solutions for the manufacturing of solar photovoltaic modules. “We’re pleased to be working with Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH in the solar business,” said Allison Ashbrook, Global Distribution Manager, Solar Business, Dow Corning.

“The company continues to expand its dedicated solar team throughout Europe to further develop and grow Dow Corning’s photovoltaic business,” said Ashbrook.

“Our highly qualified, dedicated employees are committed to promoting customer and supplier satisfaction by developing long-term business partnerships based on open dialog, trust and high quality of Dow Corning solar silicon products,” said Dr Onno Graalmann, Managing Director, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH.

Based on its distribution network and experience, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH has extended the scope of activities to the solar segment. The high-quality silicon based photovoltaic products of Dow Corning such as encapsulants, adhesives, coatings, potting agents and sealants will be distributed throughout 23 European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as most of the Central Eastern European countries and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
