INDIANAPOLIS, US/MUMBAI, INDIA: Dow AgroSciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company, has sold its European business fungicide Dithane to Indofil Industries Ltd, Mumbai, India. The agreement includes only products Dithane sold in Europe, but not other parts of Dow AgroSciences’ Dithane. Indofil was a producer and distributor of Dithane in India for 40 years under Rohm and Haas. The companies are working together to ensure a smooth transition with minimal impact to customers, distributors and dealers.
Indofil, a part of KK Modi Group, India, has acquired the rights and the associated trademarks of Dithane in Europe, the exclusive rights to use the patented NT and related trademarks in Europe, records and data Dithane for their support and contracts with customers who may be assigned. “This is an exciting time for Indofil industries in Europe, as we seek to consolidate its position in the market segment Indofil mancozeb Europe, making it take a leading role,” said KK Modi, Chairman, KK Modi Group.
