COLOMBO, SRI LANKA: Fosroc International Limited has inaugurated a new office in Colombo, Sri Lanka to increase its presence in the Sri Lankan market and surrounding territories in what is becoming a growing market in the construction chemicals industry.

Fosroc Lanka was officially inaugurated in a grand opening ceremony attended by distributors, customers and members of the senior Fosroc management team. A lamp lighting ceremony, considered a favourable tradition in Sri Lanka when starting any new venture, was followed by the Group’s CFO, Douglas Johnson, cutting a ribbon to commemorate the office opening.

Reflecting on the achievement of this milestone, BN Chandrashekar, general manager at Fosroc Lanka, said: “We seek to leverage our position as one of the leading global constructive solutions company to create growth opportunities in Sri Lanka, for both our customers and us by sharing our technical industry expertise and innovative solutions.’’
