Foster Wheeler bags Trygg Pharma’s contract in Teesside, UK

ZUG, SWITZERLAND: Foster Wheeler’s subsidiary of Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by EPAX Pharma UK Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Trygg Pharma AS, based in Norway, for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) services to convert parts of the former Lundbeck pharmaceutical plant at Seal Sands, Teesside, UK, to process fish oil to produce an omega-3 active pharmaceutical ingredient.

Foster Wheeler’s role as the EPCm contractor includes detailed design, procurement and contracts management on behalf of EPAX, and also the provision of project, construction, pre-commissioning and validation management services.
