IMCD acquires speciality food ingredients distributor in Italy

ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS: IMCD Group announced the acquisition of Italian distributor of speciality food ingredients Nutrivis srl. The merger of the two companies, planned for May 2012, will see all employees of Nutrivis transfer to IMCD Italia. Nutrivis’ broad speciality food ingredients portfolio will significantly enhance IMCD’s current offering to the market. “Nutrivis brings extensive experience in the Italian speciality Food & Ingredients market. The company’s impressive portfolio from reputable international suppliers and its 250-strong customer base offer exciting synergistic opportunities to the IMCD Group,” said Gabriele Bonomi, Managing Director, IMCD Italia.
