BANGKOK, THAILAND: Indorama Netherlands BV (INBV) has signed a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire remaining 25 percent stake in Trevira Holdings GmbH (Trevira) from its joint venture (JV) partner, Sinterama SpA.
The transaction is expected to be completed within April 2017.
INBV is an indirect subsidiary of Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL). With this acquisition, IVL will hold 100 percent of Trevira. IVL had acquired 75 percent of Trevira in July 2011.
Trevira (headquartered in Hattersheim, Germany) is a leading brand of speciality polyester fibres globally.
