Indorama Ventures acquires Old World in US

BANGKOK, THAILAND/ TEXAS, US: Indorama Ventures Limited (IVL) approved the acquisition of 100 per cent partnership interest in Old World Industries Ltd and Old World Transportation Ltd, (collectively called ‘Old World’), located in Texas, US. IVL has signed a definitive purchase agreement on 6 February 2012 with the seller in US and the company expects the closing of the transaction within first quarter of 2012 subject to the applicable regulatory approvals. Old World is the largest single ethylene oxide / ethylene glycol production facility in US with crude ethylene oxide capacity of 435,000 tonne per annum.
