KBR bags general works contract in British Columbia

HOUSTON, US: KBR is awarded a general works contract for phase two construction at a raw gas processing and compression facility near Dawson Creek, British Columbia. KBR’s Canadian subsidiary, KBR Wabi, will execute construction and related site support for the expansion of the facility, increasing the existing capacity to 100 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).

“This contract represents an opportunity for KBR to further expand its business in the rapidly increasing shale gas market in British Columbia. I am confident that KBR Wabi’s experience, coupled with our comprehensive execution plan, will ensure successful project delivery for phase two and position KBR to continue building a long-standing, collaborative relationship with our client,” said Karl Roberts, Senior Vice President, KBR Canada.
