Kemira expands hydrogen peroxide facility in Uruguay

HELSINKI, FINLAND: Kemira has successfully completed the expansion of its hydrogen peroxide plant in Fray Bentos, Uruguay. The expansion was planned since the beginning of the operation in 2005 and the project was carried out from April 2012 to June 2013.

“We finalized the expansion in the planned schedule and the capacity was increased by 65 per cent which allows us to serve the growing demand of the product in the regional pulp market,” said Pedro Cirillo, Director, Kemira Uruguay.
