Kraton announces price increase for HSBC, SBS polymers

HOUSTON, US: Kraton Corporation has declared a general price increase of $450 per metric tonne for all Kraton hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (HSBC) polymers.

In addition, it also announced a general price increase of € 450 per metric tonne for EMEA and 20 cents per pound in the Americas on all Kraton styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS).  Prices in the Asia Pacific region for SBS polymers may differ from the numbers referenced above based on local market conditions.

These price increases will take effect 1 March 2017.  

Kraton is a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers, speciality polymers and high-value performance products derived from pine wood pulping co-products.
