HOUSTON, US: Kraton Corporation (KRA) said that it will showcase its trademark speciality polymers in India. With the brand promise of "Sustainable Solutions. Endless Innovations", the company will present a broad product portfolio that improves application performance and enhances the lives of people all over the world.

Key markets and technologies include:

Paving and roofing: Kraton's highly modified asphalt (HiMA) enables longer lasting pavement and roof design. Kraton-modified bituminous materials deliver flexibility over a wide range of temperatures, resistance to thermal degradation, performance over long-time periods, excellent waterproofing properties, ease of application and enhanced aesthetics.

Polymer modifications: Designed for thermoplastic modification, Kraton polymers compatibilizer different plastics to optimize performance.

Compounding solutions: Used to formulate thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds in a variety of applications, Kraton polymers offer high strength, elasticity, durability, transparency and colourability.

Medical: Advanced, engineered synthetic elastomers that address health concerns from plasticizers and resolve Type I allergies caused by natural rubber. Kraton polymers and polymer-modified systems provide a clear, flexible and eco-friendly alternative to PVC.

"India is a key market for Kraton, and we are committed to delivering exceptional value to the region. The area's high population growth demands more sustainable solutions in infrastructure and healthcare. Kraton's innovations can play an important role in the development of safer, better products to meet those challenges," said Dr Holger Jung, senior vice president & polymer segment president for Kraton.
