Kuraray completes acquisition of DuPont’s glass laminating, vinyls business

TOKYA, JAPAN: Kuraray Co Ltd has completed the acquisition of glass laminating solutions/vinyls (GLS/vinyls), a part of DuPont packaging & industrial polymers, from E.I. do Pont de Nemours and company. The acquisition was announced on 21 November 2013. The impact of this transaction on consolidated results for the fiscal year ending December 2014 is currently under estimation and the figures will be disclosed when the assessment has been completed.
