Lanxess opens new company in Dubai, Middle East

The specialty chemicals group establishes new company with office in Dubai to target opportunities in the Middle East.

 

LEVERKUSEN, GERMANY/DUBAI, UAE – To expand its global presence, Lanxess has founded a dedicated company Lanxess Middle East GmbH, located in Dubai, Middle East. “The markets of the Middle East offer prospects, both in terms of raw material supply and increasing demand for quality products. Through an increased presence we would like to more effectively evaluate and exploit this strategic potential. Dubai is an ideal location in this regard,” said Dr Werner Breuers, member, Board of Management, Lanxess AG.

 

Lanxess currently supplies customers in the Middle East primarily with specialty chemicals, color pigments for the construction industry and high-tech plastics and rubbers. Elie Saad will be the managing director of the Dubai company.
