Lubrizol completes purchase of Merquinsa

CLEVELAND, US: The Lubrizol Corporation has completed the purchase of Merquinsa. The addition of Merquinsa, a leader in specialty thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs), will expand Lubrizol’s engineered polymers business and strengthen its ability to meet the needs of its global customers. With the close of the transaction, all Merquinsa products are being integrated into Lubrizol engineered polymers business.

“The addition of Merquinsa to our product portfolio is an example of how we continue to expand Lubrizol's engineered polymers business, providing enhanced product offerings and applications to meet the needs of our customers,” said Rocco Mango, Vice- President and General Manager, Estane Engineered Polymers, Lubrizol Corporation.
