AHMEDABAD, INDIA: The Lubrizol Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway company said that it has opened its chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) compounding plant in Dahej, Gujarat (India).
The new plant represents the culmination of Lubrizol’s investments in global expansion of the company’s FlowGuard, BlazeMaster and Corzan compound manufacturing sites.
The plant has the capacity to produce approximately 55,000 metric tonnes of compounds annually and Lubrizol has invested more than $50 million (Rs 325 crore) in the new plant. The site will serve not only the growing Indian market, but also support the emerging growth of its businesses
in South Asia, the Middle East and East Africa.
