Maroon Group acquires specialty chemicals distributor in US

AVON, US: Maroon Group LLC has acquired US Chemicals LLC, a national distributor of specialty chemicals based in Darien, Connecticut. US Chemicals’ management team will remain in place and continue to actively manage the business.

Founded in 1960, US Chemicals supplies specialty intermediates to the CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers), lubricants, plastics, and associated industries. US Chemicals has a storied history and has a proven record of strong supplier and customer relationships through its dedicated team, excellent service, and entrepreneurial vision.

“This is an opportunity to build on the customer and supplier relationships that US Chemicals has fostered over its history is very important for our organization as we execute our growth strategy. This acquisition significantly broadens our product portfolio, service offerings, and customer base,” said Mark Reichard, president and CEO of Maroon Group.
