TLALNEPANTLA, MEXICO: Mexichem, SAB de CV has reached agreement to acquire Dura-Line Corporation CHS Capital totaling $630 million in cash and assumed liabilities, advance the growth strategy in specialty products added value. Dura-Line, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, US is a global leader in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) ducts and solutions for pressure piping voice and data telecommunications, as well as in energy and infrastructure industries. Dura-Line has manufacturing plants in North America, India, Oman, Europe and South Africa.
The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant authorities and is expected to be completed in the coming months, at which time Mexichem consolidate at Dura-Line Chain Management Solutions. Dura-Line will continue to operate with management and the portfolio of existing brands.
