Mitsubishi, Celanese expand polyacetal resin capacity in Korea

ULSAN, SOUTH KOREA: Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Inc and Celanese Co are expanding polyacetal resin production capacity of their affiliate Korea Engineering Plastics (KEP) in Ulsan, South Korea. The total production capacity is expected to increase to 140,000 tonne per annum. According to Mitsubishi Gas the supply tightness persisting for the foreseeable future, the company is expecting an average annual growth of the resin to be 5-6 per cent.
