Mitsubishi Chemicals appoints new CEO, Hiroaki Ishizuka

TOKYO, JAPAN: Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation and its consolidated subsidiaries, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Mitsubishi Plastics Inc and Mitsubishi Rayon Co Ltd have made executives changes for its board of directors. Hiroaki Ishizuka is appointed as President and CEO of Mitsubishi Chemical Corp effective from 1 April 2012. Hiroaki will succeed Yoshimitsu Kobayashi. Hiroaki Ishizuka is currently the Senior Managing Executive Officer, Chief Operation Officer, Basic Petrochemicals Division and Chief Operation Officer, Polymer Division. Yoshimitsu Kobayashi who is currently the President and CEO will become the Chairman.
