Mitsui Engineering acquires 100 pc shares in UK’s SCEL

TOKYO JAPAN: Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co Ltd said that its wholly-owned subsidiary Engineers and Constructors International Inc in Louisiana (US) has acquired of 100 percent outstanding ordinary shares in Simon Carves Engineering Limited (SCEL) located in Manchester (UK) and has been becoming a wholly owned company.

SCEL is a multi-disciplinary engineering company with over 100 years of experience in providing design and engineering services to the process and energy industries in the UK and around the world.

SCEL has a proven track record in delivering LDPE process plants that provide market-leading performance, high reliability, and low maintenance requirements and overall lifecycle costs.

“This is a great opportunity for ECI/SCEL to increase their market share and expand their current footprint into new market opportunities,” the company said.
