Nippon Shokubai to expand superabsorbent polymers price

CHUO-KU, JAPAN: Nippon Shokubai Co Ltd said that it will increase price of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) by 15 yen /kg. This is necessary due to soaring costs other than naphtha, such as caustic soda, other raw materials, utilities and logistics.

Superabsorbent polymers are used mainly in diapers, sanitary products.
