Omya, United Chemicals form JV to strengthen its distribution network

OFTRINGEN, SWITZERLAND/JAKARTA, INDONESIA: Omya AG and PT United Chemicals Inter Aneka have formed a joint venture agreement. “United Chemicals Inter Aneka has a highly complementary business model to Omya and provides a strong platform for future growth in the large and rapidly growing Indonesian and Asia-Pacific specialty chemical distribution markets,” said Peter Pier, CEO, Asia-Pacific, Omya.

“We are proud about this transaction which strengthens Omya’s growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific region and demonstrates commitment to build a solid global specialty chemical distribution network,” said Peter Bigler, General Manager, Omya.
