OBERHAUSEN, GERMANY: Oxea Corporation has appointed Dr Salim Al Huthaili (38), a member of the executive board as its new chief executive officer (CEO), replacing Dr Martina Floel, who will leave the company.

Dr Salim first joined Oxea in early 2015 as chairman of the supervisory board, and then later became a member of the Oxea executive board with increasing responsibilities.

Dr Salim has built an impressive record of accomplishment and growth in the chemical and process industry. Before joining Oxea, he worked at Oman Oil Company (OOC), Muscat, as strategy and performance director for the downstream business. Prior to Oman Oil, he held various roles in Royal Dutch Shell including leading the Shell chemicals operations in the Middle East.

“Oxea has shown an outstanding business development over the years. To stay on top, we will continue to move Oxea forward to grow our business and expand into profitable growth sectors. And on behalf of management and staff I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr Martina Floel for her strong commitment to Oxea and her outstanding achievements and remarkable results in the past,” said Dr Salim.
