Perstorp CFO to join petroleum firm Preem as CEO

Perstorp CFO Magnus Heimburg will become CEO of Preem.

MALMO, SWEDEN: Perstorp Group announced that CFO Magnus Heimburg will become CEO of Preem, upon leaving Perstorp in August. Heimburg served for more than five years as CFO of the Perstorp Group. Also Perstorp has started the recruitment of a new CFO, it said.

"I would together with Perstorp's board of directors like to warmly thank Magnus for his efforts and wish him good luck in the future. Magnus has been invaluable in many of the successful projects and activities that have made Perstorp the company we are today," said Jan Secher, president and CEO, Perstorp.

The Swedish petroleum corporation, Preem, is owned by billionaire Mohammed Hussein Al-Amoudi. Preem owns two oil refineries in Sweden and has 530 petrol stations in the country itself.
