PERSTORP, SWEDEN: Following the overall review of Perstorp’s use of sales channels, specialty chemicals, the company has decided to extend collaboration with the Barentz Group during Q3, 2012. As of October 2012, the Barentz Group will be responsible for distributing a wider range of Perstorp’s products including the range of polyalcohols, caprolactones and specialty polymers. These products are mainly aimed at customers in a number of key segments such as adhesives, TPUs, plastics as well as resins and coatings.
This collaboration is an extension to the previous arrangements Perstorp has had with Barentz for selected product groups. “We see a natural synergy between Perstorp and Barentz Group for distributing specialty chemicals in the Benelux market. Our focus to develop the specialties range is best supported by a local partner with the ability to understand customer requirements, as well as our product specifics to enable future development,” said Per Westberg, Sales Director, Perstorp.
