PPG appoints new purchasing, logistics segment VP

PITTSBURGH, US: PPG Industries said that it has appointed Radhika Batra as vice president of the company’s purchasing and logistics segment, effective 7 March. Steve Lampe, current PPG vice president, purchasing and logistics, will retire on1 May.

Batra was previously VP, global supply management, at BorgWarner Turbo Systems in Auburn Hills, Michigan. She also held executive-level positions in procurement at Owens-Illinois Inc in Perrysburg, Ohio; Solutia Inc in St Louis; and Rohm and Haas Co in Philadelphia.
