PITTSBURGH, US: PPG Industries Inc (PPG) said that it increasing prices for its packaging coatings products globally. The increase to offset a significant rise in raw material costs.
“The recent input cost increases are due to a number of factors, such as multiple supplier capacity constraints globally. We remain committed to providing leading products and services that can support our customers’ success and to working to control costs, where possible, within our business,” said Ken West, PPG vice president, packaging coatings.
