Redox to purchase plastics distributor, Bribros

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Redox (Redox Pty Ltd) has reached agreement to purchase the business of Bribros (Bribros Pty Ltd) with completion of the transaction expected in early September 2012. Bribros is a leading plastics and rubber distributor, active in engineering plastics, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PVC, BOPP film, PET film, styrenics, compounding resins, polymers specialty additives and more.

Merging the two businesses will provide a strategic share of the plastics market and vast industry expertise. Bribros will benefit from access to an expanded product range, efficient logistics network and greater funding to expand and grow. Employees of Bribros will transfer on their current remuneration package and full leave entitlements. The current, Managing Director of Bribros, John Brien will continue to lead the team, with the company trading as a division of Redox. Last financial year Bribros revenue exceeded $52.5 million.
