Sensient appoints two professors to board of directors

MILWAUKEE, US: Sensient Technologies said it has appointed Dr Mario Ferruzzi from Purdue University and Dr Donald Landry from Columbia University to its board of directors.

Ferruzzi is a professor in the departments of food science and nutrition science at Purdue University. Prior to this he was a development scientist with Nestle.

Landry is the Samuel Bard professor and chair of the department of medicine at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. He also serves as the director of the division of experimental therapeutics at the school. Moreover, he is a director at Tonix Pharmaceutical Holding Corp, the Nasdaq-listed company.

“Mario and Don bring valuable leadership experience and technical skills to Sensient’s board. With these two additions, we have now added six new directors to our board in the last four years,” said Kenneth Manning, chairman, Sensient.
