MILAN, ITALY: Sinarmas Cepsa, Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) and Cepsa Quimica joint venture, said that its new subsidiary, Sinarmas Cepsa Deutschland, has agreed with Gemini Holding to acquire a sulfonation plant at Genthin, Germany.
The acquisition, subject to specific closing conditions and regulatory approvals in some European countries, is the first step of the alliance in Europe, said the company in a press release.
Sinarmas Cepsa was created last year to enhance its fatty alcohols and their derivatives market. It is currently building a fatty alcohol plant in Indonesia.
