BEIJING, CHINA: Sinopec said that the 150,000 tonne/year bisphenol A project build with the joint investment of Sinopec and Japan-based, Mitsubishi Chemical was completed and finished middle delivery on August 23. The project is located in the site of Sinopec Yanshan Company, which will be responsible for the supply of the main raw materials of bisphenol A, ie phenol and acetone, as well as the public utilities. With this project, Yanshan will gain greater advantages in product differentiation, form a new growth point and strengthen its core competitiveness, Sinopec informed.
