BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: Effective 5 April, Solvay has increased the price of its silica products globally. It will implement an across-the-board 10 percent price increase for all its silica products.
“This measure is necessary to secure Solvay’s commitment to long-term reliable supply to our customers and reflects cost inflation in raw materials, energy and logistics. As a key global and responsible player, Solvay remains committed to leveraging its deep understanding of chemistry and the global supply chain to help customers achieve their goals, now and in the future,” said the company, in reference to explaining the reason behind the global price hike.
