Sulzer expands ceramic materials production in Barchfeld, Germany

WINTERTHUR, SWITZERLAND: Sulzer is strengthening its position as a leading surface solutions provider with the expansion of the ceramic materials production in Barchfeld, Germany. The investment is multiplying Sulzer’s production capacity for agglomerated and sintered ceramics and enhancing customer service. Ceramic materials are used in a broad range of applications to make parts last longer and function at optimal efficiency. Demand is driven by the growing semiconductor and solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) markets.
