Syrgis receives license to operate in China

CINCINNATI, US: Receiving a license to operate a business in China, Syrgis started its operations name Shanghai Syrgis Trading Co, Ltd. Based in Shanghai, the company has named Henry Tong as the General Manager. “One of the key facets of Syrgis’ strategy is geographic growth,” said Andy Harris, Syrgis CEO. “China’s rapidly increasing domestic consumption represents an excellent opportunity and its logical to establish a corporate presence in China. Our GM, Henry Tong combines an experienced background and fits very well into our philosophy and corporate team.”

The initial focus of Shanghai Syrgis Trading Co, Ltd will be to support and grow the presence of the company’s performance initiators business in China. Syrgis performance initiators, a recognized name in room temperature cure peroxides in Europe and North America, offers extensive technical expertise, safety training and audits, and application support to ensure its products provide the optimum solution to enhance customers’ profitability. “With our company in China, we will be better able to provide localized solutions for our global customers. The company will build a team to service the local organic peroxide market with technical support and safety training and supplement our high quality organic peroxide offerings,” added Harris.
