Tessenderlo announces changes in Group Management Committee

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: Tessenderlo Group announced changes in its Group Management Committee and the appointment of a new Group Communication Director. Jan Vandendriessche, Director Business Group Organic Specialties will become Chief Growth Officer for the Group effective from 1 April 2012. His current responsibilities will be transferred to Pol Deturck, Director Business Group Chemicals, who will add the Akiolis and Gelatins businesses to his present portfolio of responsibilities. Eddy Vandenbriele will continue to report to the CEO for Risk Management and Internal Control. He currently holds the position of Director Risk Management, Internal Control and Internal Audit.

The Group Management Committee will comprise of Frank Coenen, Chief Executive Officer; Mel de Vogue, Chief Financial Officer; Jan Vandendriessche, Chief Growth Officer; Pol Deturck, Director Business Group Chemicals & Organic Specialties; Jordan Burns, Director Business Group, Tessenderlo Kerley (US); Albert Vasseur, Director Business Group Plastics Converting; Jettie Van Caenegem, Chief Legal Officer; Rudi Nerinckx, Chief Human Resources Officer. Ingvild Van Lysebetten has recently been appointed as the new Group Communication Director. In this role, Ingvild is responsible for supporting the Group Management Committee to set the communications strategy.
