Jordan Burns, CEO, TKI.

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: Tessenderlo said its US-based subsidiary Tessenderlo Kerley Inc (TKI) will expand its facility located at Burley, Idaho, with an adjacent ammonium thiosulphate (ATS) manufacturing plant. The new manufacturing plant is expected to start up within the next eighteen months.

“TKI’s Burley facility is a strategic part of our continuing programme to leverage our current assets and locations. TKI will design and construct the new sulfur processing plant that will produce ammonium thiosulphate for TKI’s market in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. This new plant will enhance TKI’s leading competitive position in the growing US ATS market,” said Jordan Burns, CEO, TKI.

This announced expansion of TKI’s ammonium thiosulphate business is the second this year.
