Tessenderlo Group sell feed phosphate business  to EcoPhos

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: Tessenderlo Group has signed an agreement to sell its Aliphos feed phosphate business to EcoPhos, an entrepreneurial Belgian producer and developer with feed phosphate as its core activity. The sale comprises one production site in Rotterdam, Netherlands, three sales offices in Germany, Spain and Poland. The phosphate production at the Ham site (Belgium), which will be closed down in the end of 2013 for environmental reasons, is not part of the transaction.

This transaction is not subject to approval by the authorities. After closing, which is expected in the first quarter of 2014, EcoPhos will become the new owner of the feed phosphate activity of Tessenderlo Group.
