Univar appoints Marco Antonio Quirino as president Univar Brazil

REDMOND, US: Univar Inc, a leading distributor of chemistry and related innovative products and services, appointed Marco Antonio Quirino as its new president of Univar Brazil. Quirino will manage the company’s Brazil business and operations and will report directly to Erik Fyrwald, President and CEO, Univar.

Quirno’s appointment marks Univar’s continued focus on growth in South America. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving growth and managing operations and partner relationships across Univar’s key industries including polyurethanes, personal care, food, agrochemicals, coatings, and oilfield services. Quirino replaces Interim President Normand Goyer whom he will work with to transition over the coming weeks.

“We are excited to welcome Marco to the company as president of Univar Brazil. His extensive background in the industry and his strong expertise in both specialty and commodity chemicals will enable us to strengthen our relationships with suppliers and further expand our customer base. I look forward to working with him as we enhance our footprint in Brazil and throughout South America,” said Fyrwald.
