Marco Antonio Quirino named President of Univar Latin America

DOWNERS GROVE, US: Marco Antonio Quirino has been named President of Univar Latin America, effective 1 September 2014. The announcement was made by David Flitman, Chief Operating Officer and President of Univar USA and Latin America, to whom Quirino now reports.

In his new role, Quirino will manage the company’s businesses in Mexico and Brazil in support of Univar’s operations in the Latin America market. He will be responsible for driving growth and developing partner relationships across Univar’s key industries in the region, including polyurethanes, personal care, food, agrochemicals, coatings, and oilfield services.

“Since joining Univar in 2013, Marco has successfully re-energized our growth in Brazil by strengthening Univar’s relationships with suppliers, building our customer base in the region, and connecting Brazil to relevant Univar capabilities. Throughout his career, Marco has successfully led a number of large teams to growth by focusing on building market share and working with global and regional customers. We look forward to leveraging his experience and expertise in key Latin American markets,” said Flitman.
