MUNICH, GERMANY: As part of a global consolidation process, WACKER has appointed IMCD in Australia and New Zealand for distribution of its polymer and silicone products. This is due to the fact that has re-organized its distribution network in the region. Come 1 May, 2011, IMCD will replace the previous distribution partners Amtrade International Pty Ltd, Australia and Amtrade International Pty Ltd, New Zealand.
The Dutch chemicals distributor IMCD is already a WACKER partner in most Western European and several Eastern European countries as well as in South Africa. The product focus will be on dispersible polymer powders and dispersions as well as on silicone emulsions, silicone resins, antifoam agents and cysteine.
