MUNICH, GERMANY: Wacker Polymers said that it will increase prices for dispersions of the brands Vinnapas, Vinnol and Primis globally. Effective 16 October 2017, prices will be raised by up to 10 percent.

This measure has been necessitated by the ongoing cost increases especially through market price increases for raw materials such as vinyl acetate monomer (VAM).

Dispersions of the Vinnapas, Vinnol and Primis brands are applied in a broad variety of industries, ranging from adhesives, caulks, nonwovens, paints and coatings to paper, carpet and textiles.

The price adjustment enables Wacker Polymers to continue providing customers with a wide-range of innovative quality products and comprehensive technical, sales and customer support services.
