Wison starts hybrid gasification technology demonstration unit in China

SHANGHAI, CHINA: Wison Engineering Services has successfully started up Shell - Wison hybrid gasification technology demonstration unit in Nanjing, China which marks the Shell - Wison new hybrid demonstration coal gasification technology into industrial application stage.

The new hybrid Shell coal gasification technology in coal and residue gasification technology experience, and because using water chilling technology, design is more compact; while demonstration device consists Wison Engineering indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary - Wison Engineering (China) Co Ltd to design and manage the whole process involved in the project. The new gasification technology to China after the successful operation of coal chemical industry has played a positive role in promoting.

“We are honoured to work with the co-operation and successfully validate Shell coal gasification technology mix. Demonstration unit drove the success of the efforts of both teams condensation, demonstrating Shell Coal Gasification and Energy Technology expertise, and Wison Engineering in the field of coal chemical technology accumulation and engineering experience,” said Liu Haijun, Senior Vice President, Wison Engineering.
