OSLO, NORWAY: Yara International ASA announced that its Head of  Supply and Trade unit, Terje Bakken, has resigned from his position. He will be succeeded by Torgeir Kvidal who is presently the SVP Investor Relations. Moving on, Terje Bakken will join as CEO of Trygg Pharma AS, a 50/50 joint venture between Aker BioMarine ASA and Lindsay Goldberg LLC.

 

“I would like to thank Terje Bakken for the value he has created for Yara over many years. As he has chosen to pursue his career outside of Yara, I want to congratulate him on his new position,” said Jørgen Ole Haslestad, President and CEO, Yara.

 

Torgeir Kvidal takes on the position as Head of Supply and Trade on 1 April, and retains the responsibility for Investor Relations until 1 May. With immediate effect, Terje Bakken is no longer part of Yara’s executive management team and remains a Yara employee in the transitional period of up to three months.
