Abilene Christian University was founded in 1906. It is a private university located in Abilene, U.S A. state of Texas. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs. The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biochemistry at ACU prepares students for entry into professional schools of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy or optometry or into careers in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals. This degree requires fewer calculus and physical chemistry courses than the B.S. degree, and enables students to complete more elective courses in other academic areas of interest.
