Baldwin-Wallace College was founded in 1845. It is a 4-year private, coeducational, liberal arts college in Berea, Ohio, United States. The college offers bachelor’s and master's degrees, certificates and professional education programs. The Department of Chemistry provides small class sizes, individual attention, laboratory and research opportunities. The programs offered are approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS). Students interested in pursuing an intensive program of study can opt for the ACS certified major, which requires additional coursework beyond that needed for completion of a BW chemistry major. The department offers B.S in chemistry and B.A in chemistry based engineering areas. This major is designed for students interested in chemical engineering or one of the other chemistry-based engineering programs.
