Technical University of Darmstadt

Technical University of Darmstadt was established in 1877. It is one of the leading technical universities located in the city of Darmstadt, Germany. The University is well known for its achievements in the areas of engineering, political science, and computer science. The University offers a wide range of subjects, not only in the traditional fields of natural and engineering sciences, but also in those of social and human sciences. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs. All undergraduate programs are created on a trial period of six semesters, three years. The Masters' programs scheduled for four semesters. The chemistry department of TU Darmstadt has twenty-two professors; spread over the six specializes in inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, Macromolecular Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. In these areas of expertise also covers the fields of biophysics, solid state chemistry, paper chemistry and theoretical chemistry. All these subjects and directions are lived in research and teaching. They are found in three institutions that are especially well known far beyond Darmstadt addition: the Eduard Zintl Institute, the Ernst-Berl-Institut and the Clemens Schopf Institute.
